Developmental Disability Nurse





Developmental Disability Nurses will primarily work with patients who are special needs.  A Developmental Disability Nurse is responsible for helping patients with autism, Down Syndrome, and many other illnesses.  There is also an educational piece to this position that will come into play to teach the families how to handle a patient with special needs.  These nurses work in a variety of different settings including hospitals, homes, businesses, etc.

Education Requirements: LPN, ASN, or BSN
