Medical-Surgical Nurse

A Medical-Surgical Nurse was originally viewed as an entry level position where inexperienced nurses could go to gain additional knowledge in the field of nursing before moving into a specialty.  A Medical-Surgical Nurse requires having many skillsets that will be used in many different types of situations.  These nurses provide direct care to adult patents in a variety of settings.  This is by far the most popular nursing position.

 Education Requirements: ASN, BSN, or RN Diploma
